The awards are open to all clubs that operate at Step 7 and below of the football pyramid and look to recognise the contribution of those unsung heroes of the grassroots game and encourage the development of groundsmanship.

Paul Scard was nominated for dedication and incredible work ethic to improving the pitches at the Bowl, which benefits the youth teams and grassroots football.

Following an assessment of all nominations I am pleased to be able to tell you that you were selected as the 2024 Runner Up.

Fleet Line Markers have supported the Awards and as Runner Up you have won 2 Drums of Super C line marking paint.

Once again congratulations to you for all the effort you put into improving the grass pitches at the Bowl and for all the work you do to maintain the site.

We are so lucky to have have some great grounds volunteers, without their super hero work games would not be able to go ahead
